European Earwigs are very unsightly with pincer like appendages at end of their bodies, an outdoor insect living at foundations, under slabs (core floors), steps, decks … and most active at night. Earwigs will migrate into structures as weather cools for warmth and/or during warm weather for cooler areas. Earwigs do not breed indoors and will not survive inside structures as there is no environment to support them therefore exterior treatment is best to reduce numbers and let mother nature take care of any that entered structure. Earwigs tend to go everywhere within the structure basement, first/second/third floors therefore when noted at exterior is best time to arrange treatment. Earwigs will overwinter up to six (6) feet in the ground.
